My wife is in the memory care unit. He was moved from the main area when she returned from hip surgery. I never felt that was a timely move when I compared her to others in the main floor. A umber where in wheel chairs and said very little. When we first started the facility director was only there for a little while then they had an interim director. When they hired the new director the interim director became the memory care director. Since he new director there seems to be a large turnover of staff. I know in t…

We really struggled with my Dad after his stroke. We called several places and American House was the first to get back to us. My Dad fits right in. He loves the staff and the other residents like they are his family. He loves playing games like corn hole and bingo. We are grateful that he has fit in so well. The staff are always so nice to us. It is always clean and the meals that they serve are great.

My mother has moved into American House Kingsport. I'm really pleased with it, and I think everything's going well. I really like it. My mom is adapting there. It's bright and cozy there. It seems like there's always some kind of activity going on. I think they do a good job. The activity coordinator is great. I've met several of the nurses and they always check on my mom.
