I visited the independent living section of American House Sterling Woods for my sister-in-law. There wasn't much ground. They were surrounded by parking lots of other businesses. They were next door to Meijer's and behind a hotel. The upkeep was fine, but I didn't notice anything that stood out as being more than very nice. The person who accommodated me during the tour was very personable, of course, because she's a salesperson. She's also knowledgeable about the facility and more than wi…

I have met some great people on the staff and residents too. The place is second rate. They don't even have a vending machine. The new administration is not the friendliest, the food menu needs to be more diverse.
