We are happy with our choice of this American House location. Most of the staff are good with my mom and make her feel important. Several of them have said they like this location best of any American House locations where they've worked. My mom is happy with the food. The activities director is very popular and the staff does their best to come up with nice and varied activities for the residents. The housekeeping staff does a great job. The maintenance guy is an institution and always there when you need him.

My mother just moved in and the staff, notably Lois and Jenna, at American House Troy have been extremely helpful in transitioning her. Also, the staff at Medical Team have been great to work with.

The apartment is great. Perfect size. She did an excellent job with housekeeping. Unfortunately, she hasn't participated in any activities. The only issue we have had is dealing with the medical team. Not really responsive or rather no urgency in response.
