My husband was moved into hospice care the first day we transitioned to Ameristar Assisted Living. Without this additional care, I don't think this facility would have been able to manage his care. Although they indicated a handicapped accessible facility, it was extremely difficult navigating through the narrow hall to transport him to and from his room. I also had to remind the staff several times about a loose window curtain rod that posed a safety concern if dislodged from the wall and possibly fall onto his be…

I toured Ameristar Assisted Living and I was impressed with the facility! It was very clean, the staff were all very friendly. It was very professional, I was really surprised. We ended up not needing to place my mom into a facility, but I would have been comfortable placing her here if we'd needed to. You hear so much about all different types of facilities and you worry, but from my visit...I'm not worried if it came to placing mom at this facility.

I liked this community a lot more than the others that I was looking at but there was still another community that made more sense for my loved one.

ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL FACILITY, I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE!

A home feeling for mom

I am happy with the care from this community for my mom. It is a home that is giving her great care. They offer activities and she really does enjoy the music a lot. The community is clean and always nice to see him the staff give such great care. I feel good knowing that she is in a great place and I recommend other families to this community
