Antebellum is a wonderful facility! The staff is attentive, the facility itself is very well maintained. The staff is also very compassionate, truly caring, ready to assist with any questions, requests, if anything happens to my Dad for example if he has to go to the hospital and they call an ambulance for him, they call me right away. I have nothing negative to say about this facility. They even went above and beyond and happened to have a 32" flat screen tv that they gave to my Dad simply out of the goodness of t…

I toured Antebellum James Burgess. It looked like someone's home. There was a lot of space. It wasn't all broken up where it would be difficult to navigate. It made sense to have that much openness for a facility where people could be wheeled around and furniture could be moved as needed. They had rearranged tables in the middle of the room so that all the residents could sit at the table and do an activity together. We toured Antebellum James Burgess. The staff was very nice. The lady who took us around was very polite. It was an older building. It smelled like urine, but I know that sometimes that's present around older people. However, I have toured other facilities where that wasn't there. It was a older and not as up-to-date esthetically as some of the other places I've seen. The location was nice. The building itself, from the outside, was very pretty, and the inside was pretty spacious.

I went to look at Antebellum James Burgess. The staff was nice, and that was the best thing I liked. The rooms were kind of small. The facility was nice and homey, but kind of dark. I thought they needed a little more lighting to brighten it up. They had a beauty salon and a little patio in the back with rocking chairs where you could sit out with people. They had a nice fireplace, too, and a big den.
