It was very difficult to place my dad in a long term care facility however, I couldn't have picked a better place for my dad. I was extremely impressed the minute I met with the social worker and the director of nursing. It was easy to see how they truly care about each of the residents and provide individualized care based on the needs of each person. I Visited this facility and was very disappointed. It was not very well maintained and had towels on the windowsills to keep drafts out. Not very clean... Not a place I would put a relative in. Staff was friendly but the place did not me expectations.

Apple Rehab in Guilford is a very good option along the shoreline. The staff, in all departments, is professional and caring. A high percentage of the them have been employed at this facility for many years and that speaks volumes about the work environment.
