Arbor Landing at Pawleys

Overall experience

Arbor Landing is a great place. A good friend of mine owns it. That's why we went there. I have no complaints. They really take care of their patients. The staff is excellent.

Terrible experience in memory care not enough staff members for 30+ people. It has 5 stars and that it not even accurate. Staff only wants individuals that come there to wear depends because they only let them go to the bathroom. They only have certain times during the day that they allow them to go to the bathroom to go change them if a patient does not wear depends then they tell them if they can't do it by themselves that they have to wait until it is a certain time.

My mom resides in the memory care unit of this facility, which is separate from the assisted living side and comes at a higher cost. Unfortunately, there is a noticeable difference between the two areas. The assisted living side is beautiful-it has an elegant dining room with tablecloths and cloth napkins, a well-maintained courtyard, and a wide variety of activities. In contrast, the memory care unit feels neglected. The courtyard is not well maintained, with broken chairs and unkept landscaping, and even simple …

Great place!

Staff very caring, attentive and treats all the residents like family! Food is good, rooms kept clean.

Friendly facility

Arbor landing was a good place for my parents, they were treated well. Staff was friendly and helpful. One thing I wish we had done was securing my mom's rings. I think it happened at Georgetown Hospital, her rings were stolen when she stayed overnight.

Dissatisfied with Memory Care

There is not enough staff and the staff is not friendly and caring. Its not good to care for memory care patients unless they have no medical concerns.
