I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

From the moment we walked into Arbor Terrace, we knew it was the place for my Grandma! The staff is so nice and welcoming! My grandma absolutely loves living there! She has made so many friends and she feels right at home! In addition, the food is amazing! We were just there for Mother’s Day and the frittata was one of the best I’ve ever had! I give Arbor Terrace a million stars!!!

My dad is moving in Saturday and so far this place has been a dream to work with. Jeff and the staff are friendly, accommodating and absolutely supportive. The facility is gorgeous, clean and welcoming. I’m relieved to have found a place for my family to feel comfortable at as well. I want to move in too!

Critical

Used to be great - Not anymore

Understaffed and poor decisions from management in my opinion. My loved one was a resident for over a year. Decisions where made to increase price and decrease services. For example menus were changed and less expensive meats were being offered. CNA's distributing medication to residents in an effort to reduce cost of nursing staff. Staff is a merry go 'round which it is not good for residents with cognitive challenges. From my experience there upper management is not very forthcoming with information and transpa…

I visited this facility

Rooms offer plenty of space. Nice staff, caring. My mother participates in all activities ranging from arts and crafts, to exercise classes, to current events discussions, to music recitals, to dance troupes, to bingo and all are engaging for all levels. And my mother tells us the food is good, every day.

My aunt has already moved into Arbor Terrace Highland Park. It's fabulous. They have a very small memory care, which is what I require for my aunt. It's very pleasant and it runs very well. I highly recommend it. I haven't found anything better than them. It's wonderful. Their staff is like any other staff. You got good and you got bad staff, but they got rid of the bad and they have very caring people now. The chef is wonderful, and their food is delicious. You can also eat with your relatives.…

I recently toured Arbor Terrace Highland Park and was completely blown away. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, the new facility was modern, bright, and very clean. They have 24 hour call button service which was very important to us since our mother is starting to have cognitive issues. They really have taken seniors into considerations while designing the rooms as well as common areas. The food service was also excellent on our tour. My mother will be starting inthe assisted living program but it i…
