PositiveOur experience
It was so incredibly expensive but I have nothing to consider it to. It was definitely worth the money but . . pricey I never ate the food but my mom liked it. I want my mom to permanently move to Assisted Living and I would be happy if she went to Sunrise. She is not ready to move. Overall everything was great. She didn't do many activities. We hired Sunrise in a crisis and they walked us through everything very patiently. They got my mom into facility in about 3 days. Amazing

My sister is high functioning in her Alzheimer's journey. Sunrise goes above and beyond to keep her in Assisted Living. Other residents come get her for exercise class and art projects. They keep her moving with a small group outdoors walk. They accommodate her simpler eating habits when their daily menus are wonderful and always offer several options. But if she wants a toasted peanut butter sandwich....she gets it! She has to be encouraged to surrender her dirty laundry because she prefers to do hand laundry...so…

PositiveGreat facility with caring staff
My family paid out of pocket for about 5 weeks. This is incredibly expensive and we'd go back if we needed help. My mom loved the food , made new friends, got OT and PT several times a week. They got her strong so she could live in her house again which was the goal. Room was big , place was always clean in the rooms I went into . They have a cute dog that lives there and so many of the residents love to pet him.
