I moved into Arcadia Living. So far, they've made a lot of changes. It's more like a convalescent place. I'm an independent person, so it is not recommended for independent people. I gave it a three-star rating because the caregivers are not as responsible as when I first came in. The ones they have now are very different from the first ones in 2023. I toured Arcadia Living. It's an older facility, but it's very well-kept. The parking was a little hard to get to only because it goes underground. It's tight to get in there, but it's a decent parking structure. It's small. The people at the front desk greeted you and were very nice. The person that I spoke to on the phone was amazing. I toured Arcadia Living. They're very inviting. The people were very nice. The unit that I looked at, it's on the second floor. It was in the corner. It was decent. So it had potential like I could see myself putting things there. I liked it. They have parking underground if you have a car, and the underground parking is gated. The grounds are pretty. Half of the staff members are friendly and the other half are not. Mostly the management is not friendly. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would definitely not recommend Acadia Living to other families. The facility constantly needs plumbing repairs.

Not recommended

The quality of care at this facility is sadly lacking. Medications have been an ongoing problem. Communication is not great with the staff. The room was not cleaned before we moved my loved one in. It was only cleaned when I demanded it. We were promised weekly housekeeping, but that isn't happening. Also, they do not include laundry service. Additionally, the main phone number and fax number have changed 3 times in just a few months, with no notification to the families. Based off of our experience, I would not re…
