I would rate this facility at a 5+. most facilities do not allow the disabled partner to live in. This one does. We have a two bedroom over 1000 ft.² apartment we have full kitchen facilities except no dishwasher. We have house cleaning and laundry for service is provided and 24 hour a day, nurse or helper assistance they can take care of all of [name removed] needs although I do many of them because I'm here. What's great about Arrowhead is, if you have to go from independent living to assisted living, you do NOT have to move; you stay in the same apartment. The apartments are somewhat spacious, but come with a LOT of storage space.

I visited the assisted living facility of Arrowhead Lodge Senior Living. I think what I liked best about it is that it would have been a great arena for my dad socially. It also had the room and the living space that he needed. I would say that they are understaffed, but they seemed very polite and quiet. How I saw the people working with the residents is that they addressed the immediate need first and tried to work through the rest of it. I like it! Front and back door, good view, good food. Haven't eaten much due to medical issues. Activities seem appropriate. Conveniently located to Rapid City. Two vans, one larger, one smaller. Active place!
