Very comfortable and inviting atmosphere... with excellent nursing care. My mother stayed at this facility while on hospice. We were able to bring in furniture and hang her things on the walls to make her feel at home. The nursing staff was patient and kind while dealing with different personalities within our immediate family and that alone was very appreciated. First of all, Mom wants to die at her house, but the other siblings want us to put her here, so we did. It was fine, until they didn't want to listen to the POA request, the ones that really care and visit her everyday, even at her house before she got sick. Nurses and others are gossipers here and taking sides. Beautiful place that looks more like a home than a facility. Only 22 rooms. Nurses are fantastic, skilled and caring. Less favorable things are monotonous food (eggs and bacon every morning and potatoes at every lunch and dinner meal) and housekeeping The worst facet is Corp mgmt. Never received a printed bill, contracts were incomplete and no contact from upper mgmt (Asbury Communites) on written complaints.

Asbury Place provides excellent independent facilities with extensive services that will cater to the remaining aging services that I may need over the next few years. Moved here a little over a year and half ago. One of our best decisions, the staff is very professional and efficient. The activities are varied and you can be involved as much as you would like. We live in one of the Villas and it is very comfortable winter and summer. We have lovely views of the mountains and the surrounding area. Recommend Asbury Place highly.
