I would give everything so far a 5. I have only been here a week. I haven't done any activities yet, because I am still busy unpacking and moving in. I think the value so far has been great! I liked the independent living idea. There is safety and luxury, but I don't feel like a burden on my kids anymore. Yes, I would recommend this community,

Issues with meals, noisy neighbors, angels and staff talking too loud in the hall plus front door is locked at 9 pm at night, can't get in, no one at front desk for 24 hours. Residents need more in depth instruction what to do, where to go if there were a fire. Also the fire alarm goes off often here due to mechanical failure. Otherwise, I absolutely love [name removed] and my housekeeper [name removed]...I make the best of it here and am thankful to be here. Love my apartment. What Asher Point charges is actuall…

I visited Asher Point Independent Living of Hoover. I liked the cleanliness and the setup, and the level of care available. They had agencies that you could use in addition to what they provided overall. The staff was very friendly and very professional. For what I was looking for, it met my expectations. It appeared to have adequate parking, and the facility's overall ambience was pleasant.

I visited this facility

I visited Asher Point Independent Living of Hoover and had lunch there. I also talked with some of the employees and residents. They have nurses on site, and they have a facility with medical staff there to assist you with anything that you may need, just in case you're having one of those days. Personally, I like the setup the way it is. It's set up like a hotel inside, but each room is everyone's individual apartment, so I like that part of it.
