CriticalI rarely leave negative reviews, but after months of dealing with a local nursing and rehabilitation facility, I feel compelled to share my experience. My 92-year-old mother was admitted for care, and throughout her stay I have struggled to obtain clear communication, consistent answers, and meaningful involvement in her care despite being her Power of Attorney. I was repeatedly provided documentation from the facility referencing cognitive concerns and her inability to safely return home independently. Despite tho…

CriticalThe Fairport Baptist Home changed ownership last year and has steadily declined We moved our mother to another facility3 months ago. Our mother was in Asst Living. Staffing was a problem There was no one actually in charge & Aides were covering 2 floors & couldn't be found when needed. It was a positive experience for the first 6 my Mom was there. It changed after the sale to an out of town company. It's decline is common knowledge in the community...so sad.

PositiveWe moved our dad to Fairport Baptist Homes. It's been going well and they are taking good care of him. The staff is really helpful and kind. They check on my dad very often and they are providing him all the care that he needs. I tried the food and it's very good. They have activities such as bingo, music, arts and crafts, and animal visits. The cost is high unless families can qualify for Medicaid and my dad's on Medicaid, so I feel like he's getting a very good deal.

CriticalWe had a virtual tour, informational session and assessment with my 91-year-old Father in law. He was "a great fit" for their Assisted Living wing. We paid our deposit plus first month's rent, and moved him in. His room was literally 80 degrees in the evenings with no way to cool it down but a fan, and asking for someone to open his window every day which was a chore for them to do. After 9 days, and and a very suspicious situation which led to a trip to Strong Hospital for my FIL, they quit taking o…

PositiveMy father moved into the Fairport Baptist Homes. I haven't been able to see him. I just talked to him on the phone, but he seemed to be happy with it. The staff were very good; they are very nice people. He said he was comfortable, and he said the food was good. Dad seems to think it's overpriced. The move-in was easy.
★★★★★
PositiveFairport is very well layed out and very clean. Personnel were very accommodating. They do not have any beds at this time, but they have a choice of private and semi-private rooms. My husband was there for a few weeks in the rehab unit, and the food was very good.
