PositiveCaregivers and nursing director are great. Med tech supervisor also great. Food is pretty good. Meals seem repetitive. Not enough variety in activities!! Lots of staff turnover in hourly positions. Apartment size is the best in our area. Overall happy with care and location is convenient for my family.
★★★★★
PositiveThe staff is very friendly and there are activities going on all the time. There are themed activities too such as western day, 60s day and sports team day. The facilty is always clean and fresh. I haven't tried the food but there are several options to choose from. My loved one said the food is very good. She especially likes the desserts. There is a large porch with rocking chairs that is very popular. The facilty is in an area where there is not a lot of car traffic and it is safe to walk around the facilty for …

CriticalThe room size was very good and had nice big windows. The staff very friendly and tried to be helpful but there is no medical care. They emphasize the social aspect of care however. It is great until your loved one gets hurt - like a fall or gets sick. They have carpeted hallways instead of hard flooring. Atria did not provide medical help to our loved one when needed. There was many administrative issues with Atria as well, communication could be improved on. Communication was abysmal. They initially told me thing…

PositiveDad is doing really well and thriving with the social interactions! The facility has had staff turnover, but the level of care and activities has not appeared to suffer. They interact with the residents, know them by name, go out of their way to meet family, and have been able to bridge any issues without residents seeing the effort.
★★★★★
PositiveMy mom moved into a one bedroom and it is the perfect size for her. She would like more choices on the food, but says it is nice to have 3 meals a day. As of right now she is not doing a lot of activities as she has only been there 3 weeks and is still adjusting. The place is very clean and looks and smells clean. Staff has always been very helpful and friendly.

PositiveMy wife and I just dropped in unannounced to see how things appeared to us. We met a number of staff who were all thoughtful and friendly as we toured the complex. Overall, I was favorabluy impressed with the staff - teh Executive Director has been at The Atria for a number of years, as had the chef and a couple of others. The atmosphere, appearance, and ambiance were all very favorable. I find this location very attractive and will continue to consider a a top potential for us.
