The tour experience at Atria Huntington was very good. It's a very relaxed environment. You could see the overall care of the residents there. It was very well maintained and clean. They did have studio apartments, some smaller, some larger. They did have kitchenettes. They did not have stoves. It had a refrigerator and a sink with cabinetry so that you can have a microwave. There's a lot of natural light, which was really nice, and big windows. I didn't try the food. The amenities were well maintain…

We were very nervous about placing my Dad in an assisted living or anywhere, but on [date removed], meeting [name removed] at the front desk and [name removed] showing us around made us feel sooo comfortable. I cried the entire tour hoping I would make the right decision. We didn’t look anywhere else. We went to lunch and within the hour we called [name removed] back saying we would love to have my dad there. It was a very hard decision, but one I’m sooo happy we made!!! Atria Huntington is a very good place. It's excellent. My friend gets very good care, and he is very happy there. His room is very large. The building was a school once, so everybody had one large room and a bathroom. The food is very good. They have a dining room and three meals a day. It's very nice. They have two movies a day, they have music singers, speakers, and things like that, and they have holiday parties. They have very nice activities. I go there frequently.

Food not available in blended or as soft diet. Quality of food could be much better, but they are tied to some contract with all frozen foods. The activities would improve if spent more money to get some better entertainers. Large rooms, but few bathrooms have walk in showers.
