The residents all were well groomed, appeared happy and interacting. [name removed] was lovely I toured the whole facility looked at the room she would be in. Very clean, organized. I felt very reassured leaving, that my loved one would be safe and cared for.

Welcoming and inclusive

The staff, from the front desk, sales staff, restaurant chef and wait staff, cna's and many of the residents all did their utmost to make Gail feel welcome and at home. Everyone she interacted with was positive, fun and welcoming. The staff was very knowledgeable during the tour and information session. There was always someone to call with any questions. There are always activities planned. This facility was selected for my Mom. Everyone there made Mom’s transition from out of state to Atrium seamless.

Horrible Experience

After the papers were signed and the money was paid, that's when they explained that they were a social model (which I never heard of before). They kept calling me about my mother's behavior. She was being sent to the hospital every few days. They suggested that she go to Masonicare to have her medication assessed. She was there for 3 weeks. When they were contacted about her release, they did not respond. They basically abandoned her and we had to rush to find another place for her. She never got back to where she…
