Positive100 years old .... and counting
My Mother just celebrated her centennial birthday. She has been a resident of Atria Levittown for the past 3 years and our family attributes her continuing good health and great spirits to the caring and competent staff who provide a loving and stimulating environment in which she is thriving. She remains active with activities that are well suited to a senior population, while the young, vibrant care givers and enrichment staff offer a much-appreciated youthful energy. The best pluses I saw were the warm smiles of the attentive staff, eagerness to please the client and family, cleanliness of the whole facility and value for the money. I was impressed with the bedrooms having attached bathrooms. And that there were windows all over keeping the inside atmosphere, bright and sunny.

If you think you are going to get a facility for your loved one that focuses on memory care and stimulation then please look elsewhere. The residents are mostly in wheelchairs and watch TV. Their version of a locked facility is having alarmed doors that can be pushed open. The units are typically short staffed too

CriticalIf I could give ZERO stars I would. This place was better when it was Village Green. This is not a "woman scorned" review as my mother still resides at Atria due to unfortunate circumstances. The head nurse sets a truly negative tone for the company as she has no bedside manner and thinks she's more important than she actually is. The woman refuses to share medical records even when our family involved the state. The place is short staffed and the memory care unit is basically a "locked facility!" Please think twic…
