My mother is in Atria Palm Desert's assisted living facility. We chose it because it was small and it was really well-kept. Her living space is comfortable. It's nicely painted and has nice finishes in it. She says the food is good, too. I'm also told there are programs, and I see them, although I don't know what my mom does. They have two lawns or open areas that people can walk through. They have a pool, a jacuzzi, and a sauna. There's a beauty shop for hairdressing and manicures. They al…

My mother had an amazing experience here. She liked the food, the activities, the room. Most important, she appreciated the kind and caring staff who took excellent care of her through her final days in hospice. Your loved ones will be treated with kindness and compassion and they are adaptable as more care is needed.

PositiveIf group living is the last option, Atria is a good choice
The staff seems very socially attentive, the place is clean, residence made a nice attempt to welcome my uncle. My uncle did not adjust well. He was very lonely and his health declined very quickly. I'm not sure how well Atria staff tracked this. His friends were on it, but I might have expected a call from staff to share his status and strategies with us on how to respond.
