Mom loves it

My mom moved in at 92, having lived in our family home for 63 years. It could have been a rough transition, but it was really good. All credit goes to the staff at Avalon Square. From front desk to nursing aides to cleaning and maintenance they are kind, cheerful and responsive, My mom has had only positive interactions with everyone. No one is ever too busy to say hello or to help. The food is very good and abundant. The facility is clean and offers many activities and levels of service. This is the right place!

What I like the most about Avalon Square is the staff. They are amazing, compassionate, insightful, truly caring, patient, and communicative. We were so impressed with them. My dad and stepmom moved into independent living several months ago. Sadly, my dad is in the throes of dementia and he will be moving into the memory care wing soon, but they will be in the same building, which is a great benefit. I visited this facility

I have been to Avalon Square. It was a good experience. I had minimal interaction with the staff, but I think they were all good. The ones I met were very, very courteous, responsive, and attentive. The facilities were very clean and very nice. The dining area was cafeteria-style, but it was nice and welcoming.

Really clean facility, extremely friendly staff. The staff on the Memory Care Floor, are sloppy when it comes to answering questions, they seem to be doing their own thing and bit working as a team, communication is lacking BIG TIME, also looks like everyone just leaves at the end of shift, without talking to the on-coming shift. What also got to me was the backlashing of employees talking about other employees, and their personal lives. I FLATLY refuse to put my family member in a place like this. My family member…

The tour was good and the staff was nice. They answered all of my questions. They explained everything very well. The room was small and an odd set up. Mom would've loved the history of Waukesha that was inside. And they had a little diner set up in there that was so nice. They are located downtown and had very limited parking.

We found a place for my cousin, and she is in Avalon Square in Waukesha. It is a Presbyterian home; it is beautiful and wonderful. She’s got good care there. She was crying when she went in there on Monday; this all happened so fast because she had a small stroke, so we had to find a place quick, but everything os doing good now.
