AVID CARE COTTAGES

Good choice

Most of the staff are attentive to the clients. The owner [name removed] is awesome. She really cares about the clients and is always hands on with their needs. It was a great choice for my dad who had Alzheimer's.

My dad was taken care of very well at Avid Care Cottages. I would recommend. My dad passed on [date removed]. I never observed any activities. The cost was the reason I went to Avid Care in the first place. Yes I would recommend Avid Care Cottages to other families, [name removed] the owner of the homes cares a lot about the people who live there. Yes is really good about keeping you informed and communicating.

The house is very old and out dated. This place just wants your money. The staff very un knowledgeable. The residents all look like zombies. They are not well taken care of. The owners are a couple who flirt in front of anyone which is very distasteful. State needs to shut this place down, the meals look like you’re serving toddlers. Kmarts and flies are everywhere. The place looks clean but that’s just a cover up. No activities get done whatsoever

5s all the way across the board. What we like the most about the community is just the fact that all of those categories are 5's. The staff is fantastic. The place is clean and inviting. It's been a great move for my mom.

I would recommend Avid Care Cottages to others if you can afford it. the staff were very friendly and took good care of my loved one during their stay.

Experience with Avid Care Cottages

We chose Avid Care Cottages because of the affordability and the location was also closer to family. This is a home that has been converted she is in the den of the house and it is split up so shes shares with another resident. I would say the rooms are adequate. The food here is all home-cooked and she has not had any complaints. It is an older home so it could definitely use some updates. Overall, I would recommend to others.
