AVIVA Glendale is a small place and it's very nice. I think it'll be perfect for my mother. She doesn't want to go to a gigantic facility. What I like best is that it's all on one floor. There are no elevators. It's more like a cozy feeling. It's a very simple floor plan. There's just one common area and then there are five hallways off of it and that is it. Our families experience

My mother really liked it here for the time she stayed which was about 4 months. But I don't think she realized she didn't need to be in an assisted living facility from that point on. It was great for her when she got out of the hospital but not necessary for her to continue living there. All the people were super nice and went above and beyond for her. Great place for the price. Make sure you can be actively involved. Kind and compassionate staff. Welcoming and honest. Very nice but I'd love to see the housekeeping be better in dad's room. dad wishes there was more variety of food options.

My relatives moved into AVIVA Glendale and they're doing fine. The place is newly renovated and very clean. The staff is very friendly. It's a small community, so everybody seems to know each other. You see lots of people sitting around in the main area enjoying each other. When you go there, you feel like it's an actual family community, and everybody makes you feel very welcome. My mother has been in AVIVA Glendale for a month now. It is a very nice facility for the rate. It has been a good experience for her. She has mentally improved quite a bit from being there because she has a lot of socialization at the facility. Independently, she's improved a lot, so I'm happy with that aspect of the facility.
