★★★★★
PositiveThis is our 1st time experience. We have no other facilities to compare to. Mom is a relatively new resident there but she is enjoying her new place. She has no complaints with the meals and likes the option "small portion" when chooses her week of meals. There is a variety of activities being offered daily. Her apartment is adequate size for her but not much kitchen storage. The walkin bedroom closet is very nice. Everyone has been very nice and attentive to her needs so far.
★★★★★
PositiveMy mother is getting involved in most of the activities, except for crafts (poor eyesight--1 eye; and bad arthritis in hands). Especially enjoys the entertainment. Food is good. Cleaning is good and apartment and facility are ALWAYS clean and tidy. Apartment size is perfect for my mom.
★★★★★
PositiveMy mom enjoyed living there after she allowed herself to! She had 24 hour care if and when she needed it. Housekeeping once a week, very good, healthy meals. She participated in daily activities. My mom was thriving at the Barrington. She had a social life and friends. I had the peace of mind to know she was safe. The nurse aides would contact me with any questions or concerns. The Barrington is a bit expensive, but not any more than other assisted living facilities. It is a beautiful building, nice apartments and …

PositiveThe staff is very helpful, food/dining is great. My Aunt didn't want to go, but once she got there, she loves it. Physical and emotional status improved greatly. She's better now than She's been in years.
★★★★★
PositiveI find the staff very helpful. Anything I ask for their help with they are usually willing to work with me. My only negative would be transportation. She is available on a very limited basis to drive them to appointments. Also wish there were some arts and crafts for them to do. Other than that, very happy with the Barrington.
★★★★★
PositiveGreat building and facilities. Staff is very friendly. Entryway and common area and the food.
