My mom stayed in this home for 3 months during her hospice care, and the experience was truly a blessing for our entire family. From the very beginning, the owner and caregivers welcomed us with open arms and treated my mom with such love, respect, and dignity. I truly recommend this facility. I have my aunt here 2 yrs and now my dad as well, and they are both very happy and well cared for. The home is clean, warm, and welcoming, and the caregivers treat everyone with real compassion and respect. I had to take my mother out of this senior home because the care was just not acceptable. From the start, communication was terrible. The staff seemed overwhelmed and untrained, and my mom was often left sitting in soiled clothes. Medications were missed more than once, and when I brought up concerns, no one took responsibility. Beatrice’s care home is a warm and caring environment for your senior parent. I had the privilege of placing my mother here two years ago, and now my father resides in her facility in elk Grove. He is happier than he’s ever been and loves to socialize with the other residents. He has put on weight by eating good nutritious food and maintains very good hygiene. This is a “last resort” care home. My aunt was there for 6 months and it continued to decline. Staff turnover is high. There is no care just the bare minimum service. It is really heartbreaking that old and sick can be treated this way. We are very fortunate that we were able to get our aunt into another placement.
