Review for Beehive Homes of Salem

They are great & I have no complaints. Thank you for helping me find them to get them placed. It would be good if they finish the fence in the back. We picked this community because of the location & amenities.

Critical

My loved one was treated very poorly there, their oxygen machine was not turned on once, and every day my loved one was allowed to fall down in the bed when they were specifically told that my loved one needed the be kept up in the bed because of a disintegrated spine. They should not be allowed to stay in business!

Beehive Homes is like coming home.

It's been a very positive experience. The director is very friendly and knows all of the residents by name. The rest of the staff is friendly, open and very good at managing the needs of my Mom. I would recommend to others. Personally, I like the fact that it feels more like a home than a center or even an apartment. It's a lot more cozy and the staff to resident ratio is great.

I visited this facility

Beehive Homes of Salem was a smaller facility with a country home atmosphere. I really liked that. The only thing that was keeping me from going there was that the rooms were not quite big enough. Other than that, I don't have anything bad to say about the facility and the services they offered. The food was good. They had activities for the residents. The willingness of upper management to try and help individuals like myself find and accommodate the needs of my mother stood up to me. They were all about taki…

I visited this facility

This facility is pretty new, with a nice front and back porch where residents can relax in chairs and take in a little sun. The staff are very helpful. A friend I know there, a resident, receives letters regularly from her grandchildren and the staff sit down with her and read it to her, because of her failing eyesight. She loves mail time because of what she might receive. She's light a kid on Christmas day when the post comes. I know that she once received a hand drawn picture from a grandchild and she hung …

Why this community appears in these categories

Board & Care Homes

Current Utah DHHS-licensed Assisted Living Facility Type I or Type II with 3 through 16 licensed beds and a non-expired license. Utah codes classify Type I/II facilities with 2-5 residents as limited capacity and 6-16 as small; this adapter conservatively retains 3-16 as a small-home proxy. The state does not certify the marketing label Board & Care, and the registry does not prove current availability, price, ownership, or an operator relationship.
