Bella Vista staff has heart like no other- they are lead by a group who understand the dementia disease process. No matter what day of the week or time their management has always answered any questions and treated my mom like she was a member of their family.

I can't say enough about these angels- My family was in a very hard spot , we could not care for my mom. She would not allow anyone in her home to help. She refused showers, refused eating, refused participating. After two facilities were unable to help us Bella Vista did- they helped us understand the process- they worked with my mom and overcame many of the challenges that we encountered. Bella Vista gave my mom a voice and allowed her to be in charge of her life.

Bad experience

I removed my mom after 3 1/2 weeks due to Edema and very bad UTI. Her room was locked all day, therefore not having access to her "depends" or Bible, babies etc. She was sleeping on the couch. Out of the 4 times I visited, she had wet clothing and no depends on 3 times. Upon removing her, she had a lens missing from her prescription glasses, half the clothing in her drawers were not hers. Obviously, she was not supervised 24/7.

They are real people- this is a difficult journey for my family and I am thankful that we have the folks at Bella Vista to help my mom.

Cozy community - Perfect for more advance needs of memory care. The staff is kind, professional and above all patient. They know each resident by name and their likes. Truly a family atmosphere.

Very clean with a loving, engaged staff. Their philosophy of working with the residents’ issues instead of sedating is refreshing.
