the activities look great but my Dad hasn't been able to partake yet. very, very expensive. Everything costs extra and they are understaffed. Elevator has been down for over 3 weeks. Yes, we would recommend the community to others but warn how expensive

PositiveGreat to see mom thriving
My mother-in-law was moved from another large well-known facility in Burbank that was absolutely horrendous and we were desperate to find a new place for her. Thank goodness for the recommendation by our place for Mom advocate because they recommended Belmont and it was such a fantastic move for her. She requires the beginnings of memory care and she went from, pacing the halls and not eating to having friends memory improvement great nutrition to a wonderful life now. My sister and I did the research for months to find the best for mom. Belmont Village Burbank was and is the best. I would recommend Belmont to others. The staff was amazing. My sister and I have monthly meetings with the staff and now hospice nurses. I'm in Missouri and my sister is in Washington, so our monthly meetings are so very informative.

For the overall experience, it has been a bit frustrating that my mom can't have over the counter meds in her place because she opted for them to disperse her prescribed medications. However what we like most about the community are the people who work there. My Mom would be better at giving input on the day to day, but my personal experience with [name removed] and his dog Panda has been nothing but fantastic. My mom does talk about her PAL, [name removed] a lot, but I haven't met her.
