PositiveTo be honest, my dad only spent 2 1/2 "good" days there before taking a fall in his room and going to the hospital only to return a week later on Hospice and he died 4 days after coming back. However, I will say, the staff that we dealt with while meeting for an intake interview, moving Dad in and then coming back after the hospital stay were by far the best staff we have encounter in the past 8 years of Dad being in two different Assisted Living places and a nursing home. PositiveWe picked this community because, staff, having her own bathroom in her room, amenities and the pleasant welcome we had from the community! Definitely would recommend to others.

PositiveWe had been trying to get my parents into the same facility but because they needed different types of care, it wasn't working out the way we hoped. PositiveBickford of Sioux City was nice and clean, but more formal and stiff. It wasn't as relaxed feel as the other place. That's the issue we had. It wasn't bad or anything, it just wasn't as comfortable. The staff was friendly and nice, but kind of formal. It was clean. They had a lot of damage in the room that they had to fix. I'm sure that's normal because somebody was moving out, so I'm not worried about that, but it was very clean.

CriticalWorst possible mixture of unprofessional staff and disorganized management. They are known to be the worst in town. Do not trust them. Food is horrible, main room smells. Room is tiny dingy horrible place. Bed in nothing more than a smelly cot. Overpriced.
