CriticalMy dad was there for 3 months. They lost his dentures after they told me they were putting them in an office for safe keeping so they wouldn’t get lost. Dad was drugged and whenever I went to see him he mostly slept the entire time. His clothes were always dirty and things were constantly missing from his closet such as new slippers , sneakers etc. The staff was friendly enough but obviously understaffed and for just under $12,000 a month I expected better. They did offer to replace dad’s dentures but only if he go…

PositiveI have been visiting my mom at the Blaire House of Worcester and am very pleased with the way she is spoken to / treated. All the staff treat the residents as if they were their own family members and you are able to see how happy people are here. I have seen the food that is served and everything looked good. I My mom often tells me she has to end our visit early because she wants to ensure she goes to a specific scheduled activity. I have reviewed the monthly activity calendars, and they are packed with fun, mean…

PositiveMy husband moved into the Blaire House of Worcester under the memory care unit. The care they give is excellent. They care about the residents. The place looks a little rough, but it will be updated eventually. They do a great job. They do everything according to the state laws, as they're supposed to. So, I always know what's happening, or if they need something, they'll call me. They're good at communicating. They have two choices for each meal. It's not like a focus point, but they ensur…

PositiveWe chose Blaire House of Worcester because they were the only full-care nursing facility in the area that had a bed immediately, and it wasn't a year- to two-year wait. My dad is in a triple-room. In going there, his roommates are great. I think if it was me, I would feel more comfortable being in a room with somebody else where there's noise and interaction and things going on than just kind of cooped up in my own private little room. I'm much more comfortable with it now. The staff seems very good.…

PositiveBlaire House is the first place that had a bed. It was a very nice place, and I liked it. They had doctors on-site. It’s a complete community for people with Alzheimer’s.

CriticalBlaire House of Worcester is designed for very critical patients. I found the place to be very clean and the staff to be very pleasant. However, they didn't have enough supervising staff for the patients. They did have an outside patio, which was like an enclosed open area, and that was nice for people to go out to. I did get to see the rooms. They were spacious with three beds in there so everybody has their own space. I just didn't like the fact that the bathroom was outside of the room. It was a common…
