Entered Brentwood last July to recover from back surgery. I was there maybe 2 weeks. Discharged from Brentwood on [dates removed] I was admitted to Beverly Hospital with Covid where I spent 3 days on a ventilator and almost died! Turns out my roommate had it and I was not told.!! [name removed], told me I got it at the grocery store! Denied my roommate had it. After 3 weeks in the hospital, I needed rehab once again. Only Brentwood available. 2 nd day there , I fell, yelling, pounding on the wall for 10 minutes unt…

CriticalQuality of Care Complaint
After less than 2-months of stay at Brentwood, we lost our mother due to an untreated infection. Signs of increased blood pressure and internal bleeding were not shared with the family, even though they visited daily. Nursing and physician care was poor, and communication with support staff was challenging due to the non-English-speaking care team. It is a terrible place that should be shut down if the State performed its public health duties.

My brother [name removed] has been at Brentwood since March 2024. I am writing to acknowledge [name removed], from the business office. [name removed] has helped me with forms and paperwork and taken my numerous phone calls. A lot of this is very overwhelming and without her I would still be bogged down with paperwork and my head spinning. She is such a tremendous assert for Brentwood..A true superstar. Brentwood should clone her! Thank you [name removed]!

Besides a small handful of people at this facility, this is not a place for your loved one to go. Very unorganized and extremely short staffed. Nurses are nice but rehab does the bare minimum. Upper management is horrible

This place is so scary never ever bring your loved ones here, This place is so run down staff doesn't care they leave my 92-year-old grandmother in dirty diapers and let her get a uti and I expressed this to the staff and they look at me like i don't speak English. They have move her to a locked-down unit that i didn't feel safe in myself never mind my sweet 92-year grandmother in. I am very concerned and want to get her moved ASAP!

As a retired nurse let me tell you about my experience here. First of all I am so grateful for my independence. The staff here never once asked me if I needed anything in the 2 weeks that I was here. I made my own bed daily and took my own showers. I spent a fortune on takeout as the food here is disgusting. Not only that it's cold by the time you get it. I'm here for medical reasons but I did get to work with a few of the physical therapy people and they are awesome. So are the girls in activities. I would never c…
