My mom moved into Bridges by EPOCH at Norwalk. We chose them because this place allows a two-person assist. It's very clean, and the food is delicious. The caretakers will care for your memory person without putting them in a skilled nursing facility. Anything more than just putting her in a wheelchair to the table for activities, feeding her, and changing her, whereas, in the other place that threw her out because she couldn't bear weight, she couldn't stand or pivot. I had lunch and breakfast there…

This is very difficult to answer. [name removed] goes from wheelchair to bed with a lift. He does not interact with other residents or family. Bridges is fine. No place is perfect. No complaints.

Dining is really great! If you don't like what is offered, they will make something more to your taste. The food is always good, though, and we eat here with my mom frequently. The care staff is kind, patient, and well trained with dementia. We love that dementia is all they do here, so we know we have professionals. The activities are geared towards stimulating the residents in ways to engage their brain and help remember things they may have forgotten. They are always upbeat and enthusiastic. They go on fiel…

Happy with our choice

Bridges at Norwalk is fantastic and a wonderful place. He loves it here -I cannot even tell you how happy we are with this facility. It is a beautiful place. Whatever residents need they will get. The people are all so nice. We toured a lot of places and I feel like for his needs, this is perfect fit. They only focus on memory care, so there is a lot of one on one attention. They have so many activities provided. The woman who runs it is wonderful. I would absolutely recommend this facility to others.
