PositiveBristol was in Wentzville that I looked at and not really a skilled facility. Very small and no activities. Not ideal for someone with memory issues. More of a residential care not assisted living.

PositiveI love knowing my dad is taken care of and I don't have to stress about him getting his meds, etc. Being a smaller community he gets more personalized care.

CriticalI was not very impressed with my tour of this community. The community was not very lively, and it was really quite. I met one staff member, and they were friendly. I didn't feel this was the right fit for my parents. It had a dark, and damp atmosphere.
★★★★★
CriticalSmall and dark. They allow smoking in some areas and you can smell the smoke from about anywhere.
★★★★★
CriticalBasic services provided. Rooms are adequate size and private which is very important. Each resident gets their own private bath as well. Resident kitty 'peanut' is a hoot and super friendly. Betsy the resident manager seems to have a good handle on the facility needs. Currently there are only male residents so may be odd for a incoming female resident but the staff is all female.
