We toured Brookdale Arbor Place. It was a friendly place. It was small enough, but not too small. The gardens are beautiful, and there are nice places to walk outside. It's very quiet. My friend liked the size of the eating area because she's in a facility now where it's a huge room, and it's so loud she can't hear anybody, or they can't hear her. She loves that they had a top-floor apartment for her with a nice view. The fact that their laundry is done for them was a big plus for my f…

We like the apartment, we had to move in a hurry. We do like the staff, and they are very solicitous. I didn’t give a 5 star because the meal haven’t been good lately. The meat isn’t tender so sometimes it is hard to eat. There have been some winners and sometimes it doesn’t all melt together. We would like to know the changes on medication and when it is administered.

I like the new director we have right now. She has good leadership and is always free to talk to. She listens and keeps us informed based on meetings and follows up on questions. It is difficult to satisfy everyone with food, but they do a good job sometimes. The staff is very good, but some of them need a little more training.

Brookdale Arbor Place was lovely and welcoming. The staff was delightful. I found her to be very, very helpful, and very pleasant. I saw what they were eating, and it looked delightful. The menus were very good. The dining area was large and nice. They had a calendar for every day of the month and well displayed. There are lots of activities about anything they want.
