This was for a 6 week stay in respite care for someone recovering from a fall. The room was pleasant, if on the small side, with a view of the court yard. Staff was pleasant, the room was clean and the food was good. The only activity used was PT. Pretty good for what was required.

We were delighted with the grounds when we toured the place, but made the mistake of not going to one of the meals. The food was appalling, the activities were non-existent, and it felt like a ship with no captain. In the dining room, on two occasions residents actually said no, my mother couldn't sit with them when I asked, citing rules or saving a spot for someone regular. I toured Brookdale Boulder Creek. I'm not as impressed with that one. I think for once they didn't take insurance, and they wanted six months upfront. We could swing it, but it seemed like mentally a large commitment. It was a little bit older building. I ended up enjoying the lady who did the tour who spoke with me, but the units didn't feel quite fresh.
