The care is good and the place is clean. The food is good my mother said. We just have several kinks we are still working out. I would just recommend double and triple checking price prior to actual moving parent/grandparent into Brookdale.

Brookdale Bristol is a wonderful place to live. The Staff is very caring and attentive. The Food is good and really above average. The apartments are larger than most assisted living facilities. I put a full size sleeper couch in mine for guests. The common areas have recently been updated. It looks great! The mountaintop chalet type building provides a beautiful view of Holston Mountain. When visiting Brookdale, I was greeted by the coordinator with kindness and lots of enthusiasm. The walk through was pleasant and very informative. I came near lunch time, so the smell of the kitchen was delightful! The rooms were very clean and inviting.

CriticalThey tell you one thing then do another
[names removed] are excellent. The food, when we eat in the dining room is good, but when the dining room is closed and they're bringing the food to the rooms...it's cold and very small portions. They also don't bring the food till an hour after mealtime.
