Staff is great. Plenty of activities. Apartment size is great. The facilities are clean. There is always a variety of options for meals but the food isn't very appealing. Some strange combinations. Not sure where the recipes come from but strange mixes such as baked chicken breasts with a heavy coating of yellow mustard or extremely overcooked macaroni with processed cheese that was cooked until it separated. Brookdale College Parkway was very good, but the furnishings and everything seemed dark. I needed a lighter atmosphere. The staff that I saw was very good. The greeter or the facilitator was excellent. They were empathetic with the residents. The residents were greeted and talked to.

So far I would rate every aspect a 5. The staff has been patient & helpful during my move. Things in the apartment have all been refreshed or replaced with new. The staff & residents are very friendly. The level of care toward my well-being has been great. I'm enjoying the food & the variety of choices. There is no lack for activities & once I'm more settled I hope to enjoy more of them. Value wise; it's proving less expensive than being in my own home.
