Brookdale Diablo has a very welcoming energy from both staff and residents. All staff from sales to resident care have been great. My mom's care staff encouraged her to participate in fitness classes. Very impressed with Ex Director [name removed] who is very present and available and responsive to my questions. Wonderful, caring environment! Residents are welcoming and inclusive of newcomers. All staff are responsive and accommodating to reasonable individual needs. Excellent and “delicious” food options are available daily. I am newly a second generation resident of Brookdale Diablo Lodge ;and, I am so pleased to be having the same positive experience that my Mom had enjoyed for many years! Even the sign on my door that greeted me upon arrival said Welcome Home setting a pleasant tone from day one!

I have lived at Brookdale Diablo Lodge for eight years and find my life to be full and happy. I moved here to be near family and because I was falling a lot, not good for a senior! A walker is just what I needed. Here I have friends, a choice of many activities, delicious meals( that I don’t have to cook!), weekly housekeeping and laundry service plus a hairdresser and manicurist. Cleaning of room and balcony was sub par - food was boring and on repeat - low on staff - having said that, staff that was there was very kind which is why we kept my mother there. She wasn't a big eater, so food was sufficient but would have liked a better variety. My mother made friends there which made her happy.
