am glad I chose Brookdale to place my mother when we could no longer take care of her at home. At Brookdale, she has settled in well. The staff are kind and helpful. Her room is always neat. She has choices of meals and she is a picky eater, but she likes the food there. I met the chef and a few of the kitchen staff. They cater to their residents, which helps when there is a picky eater like my mother. There are plenty of activities for residents. I would recommend. It costs more than the previous place my mother was staying, and it had an added on charge I wasn't aware of so make sure to ask about those things. The director and financial person are very helpful. My mother is well cared for and someone calls me to let me know how she is when I cannot get there.

The staff had been incredibly kind and helpful, working with my mother to get everything she needs. The facility is clean and the patients seem very happy. The activities aren't always my mother's favorite (She is not religious unlike most residents, so activities catered to their worship aren't her favorite) but every need she has had had been dealt with. She also has not liked soup her whole life, so when she says their soup is amazing, you know it is true.
