Positive‘Feels Like Home’
Each time I visit my aunt in Brookdale’s Memory Care area, she is happy, clean, well-fed and talking about the staff as her friends. She tells me ‘my apartment and this place just feel like home’. It continues to be a wonderful place for her to enjoy living.

The staff welcomed my aunt into her new environment and made sure she was introduced to others at her same level of cognitive impairment. Everyone from administration to janitorial staff made an effort to greet her and make her feel at home. For her family, their continuing efforts to keep us informed about her integration into the community, habits and needs in her new environment, and plans for her care helped reassure us this was the right place for our loved one.

Everything about Brookdale Johnson City was great. I had a good talk with the fellow who was running it that day. Everything was clean and nice. All the residents seemed to be enjoying things. The dining area was nice too. The guy I met with was great. We had a really good conversation. There seemed to me to be plenty of things for people to do. It's a really nice facility.

My mother recently passed away, but spent the last year of her life as a resident in assisted living at Brookdale. A simple thank you for the superior care Mom received seems inadequate. She was treated with respect, compassion, love, and kindness by every single employee. The staff works tirelessly and puts your loved ones needs first. I will always find comfort knowing that my precious mother lived where she felt safe and well taken care of.

We toured Brookdale Johnson City. I thought that things were very clean. They have a very friendly staff. It was a beautiful and well-kept place. They had game rooms, fitness rooms, and a beautiful outside area.
