Brookdale Kettering

When I visit my friend and I see the staff they are very nice and helpful. The overall cleanliness is usually very good. I haven't eaten there and usually all my friend gets is a hamburger. I put 4 in some areas only bc you can always improve. That's about all I can say at this time. No complaints. Of course I would recommend Brookdale to others.

Thanks to the guide, the tour was great. Everything was explained well and in detail. Nothing was missed on the walk through. There is an abundance of amenities. I loved the apartment room sizes, kitchen set up and bathroom shower. The small screened in patio was a welcome sight. I wasn't feeling comfortable with being included with the step up to assisted living program. This is a community I would consider except that the price range was above my means.

The overall staff is very caring and friendly on a daily basis, the facility is clean and cheerful, and my family members enjoy the food and the variety of choices.

Everyone has been very helpful and nice. Apartment is kind of dark because of the screened in porches on the back. I think they could spend some more money on landscaping and cleaning the carpets food has been OK.

Great experience

Overall, my experience has been great. The staff are wonderful, the food is good, and the community is kept clean and well maintained. The size of the community is just right—it feels comfortable and manageable without being too large.

Room for Improvement

The staff is attentive for the most part, the cleaning lady ( who was just fired) was terrible, and didn't clean efficiently or often. The food is average. There were a number of issues with repair, that have mostly been fixed. My mother is a perfectionist, but I can still see her issue with some of these items. At this time, it is the best bang for her buck. She is unhappy with it, but I think she can tolerate the small issues.
