★★★★★
CriticalThe place is clean but rooms are depressing and very bare. Billing is biggest complaint. They bill on 45 day cycle and so costs vary. Very hard to plan on a budget. People are quick to get you in but then it's hard to get a call back from billing dept and if you need records for a transfer.

PositiveWe toured Brookdale Kettleman Lane. The staff answered all of my questions. She's very nice and very helpful. The facility was very clean. It didn't have any odor. It was very nice.

PositiveWe toured Brookdale Kettleman Lane. Memory care is a separate building from assisted living, and because I was looking for memory care, I actually liked that better because it was its own building. The cleanliness and the security were good, and the rooms were nice. They have a lot of open spaces for people to gather. I was able to meet more of the staff, and everybody was helpful and knowledgeable when I had any questions.
★★★★★
PositiveBrookdale Kettleman Lane appears to be a warm, caring community. It's a standalone community where it's a building that is just memory care. My husband likes to be busy and likes to do things outside and they have a rather large outside area which would suit him well. However, the showers are outside of rooms, and they're pretty far away. So I don't know if my husband is going to be able to learn to go there on his own. And I see him being escorted, which is an additional cost of several hundred…

PositiveThe staff guided me through the admissions process, making everything easy. Resident RN's coordinated getting my loved one's bed and wheelchair ordered prior to her arrival. They also synced all the different meds that she was prescribed at the various rehab facilities with her primary care physician. The rooms and common areas are cleaned daily. The food is great and there are plenty of activities like bingo to keep her occupied. The staff is attentive and always available to help out. Just last night, mom comment…

PositiveBrookdale Kettleman Lane was very nice, but a little more expensive. One nice thing about this facility is that I could go whenever I can and this place is four minutes from the church I go to. It was a very nice building. It was comparable to where my husband is in terms of cleanliness and staff. The people that were living there looked happy. They had private and shared rooms. If I wanted a private room for him, it would cost a lot more. They had security.
