PositiveMembers of the staff are very nice
The Brook Dale staff is attentive to my mother‘s needs. The attendants are always available to assist her whenever she needs it. The activities fill up her day. Exercise class is always on her to do list. She enjoys interacting with others her age.

A majority of the staff have been there for years and it shows especially in service and care. My mom enjoys bingo and she rarely misses a meal with her table mates plus has a new best friend. The food is exceptional. Sometimes housekeeping and laundry seems to miss a beat. My mom has the larger apt. She has a full set of bedroom furniture and a table with two chairs. CriticalOur experience
Room/apartment size very nice compared to others I have seen. Staff are very nice. Currently, they are understaffed. My mother isn't interested in the activities. She did 2 paintings which she enjoyed. Honestly, I wasn't clear what services were provided for what I am paying. What I thought was part of normal assisted living then became " add ons". You pay for room + medicine dispensing + escort service.

My father loves the food, facility is very clean, they do a lot of activities and my father likes the veteran stuff and acknowledgement they do. The facility is one story and easy to navigate with some nice outdoor areas. Nurses and staff are friendly and do a great job keeping up on what my dad needs.

Mom needs full assistance, which makes things harder. But I am not sure it could realistically be much better without more dedicated assistance at a much greater cost. They do respond pretty well to whatever she needs. And things improved some with the new manager, [name removed]. [name removed] is very involved.

I would give each category 5 stars, the staff/care, activities, food, cleanliness. Room size big enough for a sitting area and a bed, also has mini kitchen, the best part is it has its own shower.
