Brookdale Murrysville

It's not home, but it's a great 2nd best.

We are very happy with the facility, staff, and care they provide. Overall they have exceeded all of our expectations. The only negative comment would be that they often seem to be short-handed. Especially on weekends. Caregivers are awesome, but it's evident their plates at constantly full.

I would say my overall experience was good, especially at the end of life. Staff was very supportive and accepting of us staying with my dad until the end. I felt the place was very clean. Everyone was friendly, willing to assist with questions or concerns. I felt my dad received the best care possible. I'm sure at times he was difficult but the staff seemed to deal well with him. The staff and care at Brookdale has exceeded all expectations. We are happy with the level of care given to my uncle

The facility takes safety and security very seriously. All public and resident areas of the facility that we toured were immaculate. The staff we encountered was friendly and welcoming. The residents are encouraged to participate in the several activities that happen through out the day. The residents are able to bring furniture, wall art and pictures to make their room very homey and welcoming. Most rooms are single. Wonderful admin staff

The administrative staff were truly awesome! As far as the food goes, I think they could benefit by offering more of a selection rather than the same thing everyday, especially breakfast, it's a mixture of sausage scrambled eggs a and cubed potatoes.
