Review of Brookdale Rome

The staff and admin have been extremely helpful and personable. The physical facility needs some updating in some areas but is not unsafe. There are several activities each day for varying interests. The food is ok. Not great but good. I have no complaints. They have been very supportive since my mother died there in August. My older disabled sister is still there until group home placement can be completed and she is loving her independence and I trust her care there. My greatest complaint would be parts of the ph…

Wonderful facility. I like that it is mostly on one floor except for the dining hall. However, the elevator goes right there so there is no confusion or problem getting there. [name removed] was exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly. The facility itself appeared clean and well maintained. Rooms and apartments are of adequate size. I really was impressed.

Brookdale Rome

My parents moved to Brookdale Rome 4yrs ago, as their nature, to be prepared for the future. Brookdale staff has always been respectful and caring to my parents. They have been very helpful with changing needs. My father’s health declined and he passed away 6 months ago. My mother, as was their plan, chooses to remain at Brookdale. She tells others that she knows this is where she wants to be. She is well supported and taken care of. We, as a family, are thankful for the staff at Brookdale and the friends made.

They are so good to my sister there. I couldn’t ask for a better place for her to live. Everyone is so involved and loving towards her. She has so many friends that she enjoys spending time with. Brookdale is her home!

Everyone has been so helpful and personable. Facilities could use a little updating but the cleaning staff works hard and takes care of mom's needs. Overall, we've had a nice experience with Brookdale.
