Everything about Brookdale was great. From the administration staff to the staff back in the memory care were A #1. The room was very spacious and always clean! Dad did not usually participate in the activities. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are searching for care for their loved one. It was the best decision I ever made getting in touch with A Place for Mom and Brookdale!

Everyone was very nice and it really felt like home there.

Brookdale Shreveport is a very nice facility. It is clean. No urine smell in the Memory Care unit. It has a lot of ambient light and very homey. The facility is not as new as some I visited so I am giving it a little lower score just on that fact. The staff all seemed genuinely engaged with the residents and welcoming to me and my sister. It is also close to my mother's doctors and preferred hospital. We had a lengthy visit with no indication that anyone preferred we speed the visit up.

Staff is friendly and the food is good. Premises are very clean and the activities are great. My parents are happy there and they are well taken care of.

The tour person from Brookdale Shreveport was great. She was very friendly, very helpful, and very knowledgeable. She's worked there a long time. She also has a family member as a resident there, so it felt like that spoke well for the place. The place was very nice and very clean. It felt happy.
