Please don't send loved ones to the Stanwood Wa, facility!! And if you have loved ones there, please check on them!! There has been no bus for residents to go to medical appointments or just to run errands! 3 months!!! The executive director will not do anything!! They have not even let family members know this!! Please if you have family at a Brookdale, especially on Stanwood Washington, please check on them!! Excellent facility, good location, particularly for us - as it is near our healthcare providers. Right across the street from the Stanwood YMCA - a great facility for maintaining your exercise routines, etc.

I visited this facility

My husband is going to move into Brookdale Stanwood. It looked incredibly good, clean, orderly, and calm. The staff was very informative. He answered everything I needed. The dining area was lovely, but I don't know about the food because we didn't try it. They have crafts, exercise, TV, and movies occasionally, normal stuff where they can visit with the other patients. The dining room looked really good. I was really impressed; otherwise, I wouldn't put my husband in there.

My husband is a resident of Brookdale Stanwood. The care is excellent; I have no problem with the care. There are a lot of options there. However, my husband is basically room-bound. He's in a wheelchair, but it offers a lot. I can say that it has worked out, and the care is wonderful, so we have no complaints. He has a studio because he doesn't need a big place. I toured Brookdale Stanwood's assisted living. The facility was really warm and inviting. I was pleased with the size of the rooms, especially the one-bedroom apartment. I also liked the restaurant and the option of going down there most hours of the day. I think it was 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and I thought that it was really accommodating.
