Brookdale Union Hills

We had to find a memory care facility for my sister. Brookdale Union Hills stood out from the initial meeting with Darien. He spent over an hour with my brother and I explaining what the facility offers and asking about my sister and her needs and situation. During the tour we saw residents in living areas, activity room and walking around visiting with each other. Staff were friendly and interactive as well. Review for Brookdale Union Hills

The staff was very helpful with everything that I needed to do and getting her in there the car is very nice activities. Look like they would be fun. Food looks good. The place seem to be very clean. The apartment size was adequate for one person and I had enough space in there for one person. It seem to be very nice. The only thing I had to replace was the bed mattress because Myrtle did not like it so I replaced that otherwise my experience has been very good.

Great Medical Care but terrible Property Management

The nursing staff and medical director are all amazing The cleaning & laundry staff are so so and they do not bring the things we marked with my dads name back to him after being washed and he's missing some items I have complained and shown proof of the missing items but things are still not correct

Friendly caring staff

The staff is very attentive to my mother's needs & care. The turn over rate is low, which promotes constancy of care. The facility is clean & the environment is safe.

[ Name Removed] was very helpful showed me around the place was very clean and I like the way it was set up into the neighborhoods that they have here there’s four different neighborhoods. The people here seem to be enjoying themselves. They helped me with all the procedures that I needed to go through on filling out paperwork, they were very helpful completely [ Name Removed] was also I talked to and she helped me very much. Conscientious care, personnel, would recommend.

All in all everything is great. However, clothes tend to get lost pretty frequently. Meaning, when laundry is done or they leave a sweater in the common areas, it's not getting returned to its rightful owner. Even though we put labels on everything aside from that everything's great.
