PositiveMy mother was in rehab at Brookshire Nursing Center. The staff members were great. I had been a patient there in rehab a few years ago for about a month. I was aware of the care and the staff, which I was pleased with and why we had my mother go there. The cleanliness was good. The staff was well-schooled in caring. My mother had a private, good-sized room. The food was very good.

CriticalOld building but it was ok. After lost of complaints they were willing to work with you. Lots of hard feelings between nurses and nurses assistants. They did not work well as a team. And complained to me about there issues with each other. PT was not willing to help me. We needed to work together. I know my family member and they know their job WE SHOULD WORK TOGETHER. My family member was not successful at Brookshire but made great progress once we moved to new facility. PT was not very helpful. They would sit t…

PositiveWe are happy with Brookshire Nursing Center. My mother-in-law is in a double room but it's great for what she needs to have done. The security is very good at this place. I like the way they take care of my mom-in-law and they are real friendly. They meet the needs that she has to have. For what they're doing, the value for the money is fine. I think they need to have more staff. The food and the dining area was fine.

PositiveI visited Brookshire Nursing. I like that it was small. Also we have known some of the folks who have parents there. The staff seemed very accommodating, friendly, and knowledgeable. Brookshire Nursing is a small facility, so it isn't anything so big that it isn't run efficiently. It seemed like a small, family-oriented place. They seemed to be efficient in what they do.
