PositiveByron Park was very nice. The rooms were nice. My husband stated that he wanted to get the two rooms rather than just a studio. They had a one-bedroom and then a living room. Otherwise, you get a studio where you just go in and it's just one room and the bed is in there. He preferred a separated bedroom. The layout was OK and it was important to him to be near an elevator. They had elevators. The food was delicious and one thing he likes is salmon and that was available. The staff was wonderful and very helpfu…

CriticalByron Park was just average. My friend lived there for a couple of months and left because it was awful. The staff was very nice. My friend's room was above average. It was a one-bedroom apartment. She had a balcony. For activities, they had a small pool, and they had happy hour once a week. It was not a good fit, and it was awful for her, so I don't give it a high rating at all. The residents were very unfriendly. I think management could have done something to make it easier for somebody to move in. The…

PositiveMy aunt moved into Byron Park and is having the best time! Every time we visit she's busy with her new friends, enjoying happy hours, live music and all the fun and interesting programs. She loves sitting in the garden and swimming in the pool. We love joining her for meals and activities and our kids and dog get so much love and attention from the staff. They treat her and our family so well and we always feel welcome when we visit. We can't recommend Byron Park enough!

CriticalThe facilities and staff are superb. But it is not a happy place to live. The experience of living @ Byron Park did not match the written description or conversations with the sales staff. The activities were pitched at residents with much less energy and ability than my mother. The companionship in the dining room was much more residents from assisted living than independent residents. The more active and independent residents were cliquish and exclusive. Any move is hard, but this one was excruciating. My mother …

PositiveI liked Byron Park very much. I did a virtual tour and then we went in person to see them. What I liked, they're on a busy street, they have a large courtyard, and they have lots of activities that are done by the residents, which appealed to me. They have a greenhouse that is run by the residents, and they're very active with that. They're working on creating more space at the facility (they're on a hillside) for more gardening activities by the residents. They have a lovely library that is run…

PositiveI'm glad that my loved ones moved in here. My loved ones really like the community. There is a health provider that comes on site and this is a big plus that the doctor can see my loved ones on site in their apartment. There has been quite a bit of staff turnover. My loved ones have loved the food. It seems to be a rotating menu, but a lot of diversity of food, and feel it is the healthiest they have eaten in years. Some of the weekend menu items have included steak, salmon, rack of lamb, and more. The apartment,…
