CriticalMy mom was here for a few years and it was terrible. Food was not edible. My mom continued to lose weight. They are severely understaffed. One helper to about 20 patient ratio. I contacted (which was difficult to locate) senior management to share my concerns to no avail, I cannot believe the state has not closed this facility. Thankfully I was able to relocate her to a capable & caring facility.

CriticalMy Mom went to Canterbury for Rehab. When entering the facility for the first time the first floor was pleasant and clean. That stopped once I reached my Mother's floor. The rooms are dated. Though, the bed was awesome and as a visitor each patient has a nice TV with a great cable provider. The first week she had no Rehab and was in what Canterbury calls Quarantine. It was more like a Psych ward. The moaning, screaming and very loud beeping of patients hitting a nurse button that were not answered. I left there i…

CriticalMy father was in Canterbury Care & Rehabilitation. The nurses were wonderful, but the facility was terrible. The food was absolutely atrocious. He lost almost 20 or 30 pounds living there. The facility was rundown and old. They didn't know where he was when I took him out for doctors' appointments. When I came back from doctor appointments, they had no idea that he was even back. Elevators were broken all the time, bathrooms were not maintained, and the rooms were in disarray, old, and nothing worked.…

CriticalCHAOTIC and Noisy. I Thought Nursing Homes would be a nice, quiet, restful place to recuperate and get a GOOD rest but that is not the case. This facility has aids yelling in the halls and patients yelling at night so one cannot sleep. REALLY? This is totally unacceptable and I cannot wait to get out of here!

PositiveEveryone is very friendly, sweet, accommodating, and helpful. They are all friendly they are nice. I think the table could be cleaned a little better. The patients that can’t eat should be feed quickly. My loved one has no complaints about the meals. Once I get someone to call me back there is communication but it takes 10 phone calls to reach someone.
